About Us

Posted in Uncategorized by Alice on the June 30th, 2006

The Dayton Catholic Homeschool Network’s primary purpose is to facilitate communication about events and other items of interest to the Dayton Catholic Homeschool community.

On our free Yahoo forum families are welcome to post play dates, gym days, nature walks, religious events, etc. they want to invite others to. Community events such as concerts, ticket information, or homeschool days may be posted here too, so long as the event is Catholic or homeschool related and not contrary to a love for the Catholic Church. Members are also welcome to post books or other items they want to sell or purchase. Books/tapes/CD’s posted for sale must be from publishers known to reflect accurately the teachings of the Catholic Church.

This site will be Catholic in tone and content. The purpose of the Dayton Catholic Homeschool Network is facilitating communication among homeschooling families and assiting them in finding the resources they need to homeschool well. To speak with other homeschool families, please join our Yahoo Group by clicking here.

Membership is primarily intended for Catholic Homeschool families in the Miami Valley area. However, those who hope to become Catholic, homeschooling and residents of the Dayton Area are welcome to join too.
